EMS are honoured to be associated with Clane GAA and sponsor the Annual Clane GAA Business Lunch.
A really enjoyable event at the fantastic Westgrove Hotel last Friday with a host of GAA stars from present and past to showcase the event including Mick O’ Dwyer and the legendary Ó Sé brothers pictured below with EMS Copiers MD John Cahill. In addition the one and only Barry Murphy (Après Match) was the MC and provided everyone with much entertainment.
EMS Copiers were delighted to be involved and donate the prize of an iPad in the best pic of the day competition organised by the hardworking team at Punchestown. A fantastic idea to make this year’s festival even more enjoyable.
We love the winning pic as it really captures the atmosphere and essence of the Punchestown Festival. Well done to all involved!

The programme gives us an effective way of reinforcing our solutions capabilities and helps to validate our knowledge and abilities to our customers.”
Team #109 had high hopes heading into the second round of the season at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit. Aghadowey’s McGlinchey was once again the man to beat in the Dickies British Junior Supersport class, taking victory in the opening race of the weekend on Saturday , before scoring another two podium finishes in the remaining two races, standing on the second step both times and extending his lead in the championship to almost thirty points.
The weekend got off to a great start for the nineteen year old, finish free practice on Friday in third position, before going one place better in qualifying putting the Kawasaki Ninja 400 in the middle of the front row for the opening race of the weekend around the tight Indy track, finishing free practice in twenty-fifth, and starting from the track of the grid for the opening race after a difficult qualifying session.
With five podiums from the opening five races of the season, McGlinchey sits at a top of the championship standings with an impressive tally of one hundred and ten points, and a twenty nine point gap back to Kade Verwey in second position. Glover is yet to score his first championship point, but after some promising performances this weekend, this is certainly not far away for the young Dubliner.
Speaking about the weekend Team Manager Paul Tobin commented “Another excellent weekend for us as a team, Kevin showed his true championship crudentials this weekend with a great 5th place finish and more really good points in the bag as he heads into Oulton Park.

Punchestown Racecourse has announced details of their social media image upload competition for the 2018 Festival, Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th April. The ‘Photo Of The Day’ initiative, which will run each day of the event, will be rolled out on the official punchestownraces Instagram platform and all you need to do to enter is follow the feed and include #OutInTown18 on your festival Instagram snaps.
The judges will look for images that capture the essence of the Festival including racing action, style, social images, venue shots and of course racegoers having a great day out. However, all images must be taken by the Instagram profiler themselves and not a professional photographer or a repost of an image online.
The top five images across the week will be put to a public vote and the overall winner will receive a brand spanking new iPad generously sponsored by EMS Copiers. The final five images may also be published as part of the marketing campaign for the 2019 Punchestown festival.
“This idea came about as each year the selection of images captured by the public attending the festival and shared on social media are truly incredible! They include high fashion shots of the Bollinger Best Dressed Lady Competition, group shots of friends cheering winners home and of course, wonderful moments of racing action captured in motion. With the ever improving advances of mobile phone photography, everyone is a photographer now! So based on that theory we will have 125,000 photographers at the Punchestown Festival and with this competition and prize it will encourage them to share their #OutInTown18 experience”, Shona Dreaper, Punchestown Head of Communications.
The Punchestown Festival takes place from Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th of April 2018. The action-packed, fun-filled, style showcase attracts over 125,000 people to the famous racecourse. Festival tickets range from high-end hospitality packages to great value admission only and group packages from just €30pp, details at www.punchestown.com or by calling +353 (0)45 897704.
