The unit is remarkably easy to use and records every person who presents to the unit, noting the time/date and their temperature along with a photo of the person.  Within 2 seconds the Thermal Detection Module is able to read temperature and alert the staff member or customer.

Using infrared light, it will quickly and
accurately read temperature within 0.2° margin of error.  A clear visual and audio notice is issued for each user confirming normal temperature or elevated temperature (the sound can be enhanced via the Bluetooth connection to a remote speaker if necessary)

It works by standing a meter and a half from the unit, it then identifies your temperature. The manufacturer confirms accuracy to within +/- .2 c

The Thermal Detection unit then gives audio instructions and colour-based responses – green is OK and red is hypothermic – indicating that the user has an elevated temperature.  The unit comes with an adjustable freestanding mount. Also available as a wall mounted unit or with a table stand.

Working from home is certainly very different to what we have become accustomed to.  While I for one am looking forward to getting back to “normal” I have adjusted to my new office set up in my kitchen and have found a couple of small simple steps to be productive and stay sane!
